Who We Serve:
Today, some 27.4 million Americans are over 65 years of age. The
elderly are one of the fastest growing segments of the U.S. population.
Research indicates by the year 2030, there will be more people
over the age of 65 than under the age of 18. Mountain Lakes Behavioral
Healthcare’s Geriatric Program recognizes the importance
of serving Senior America. We give back to them respect, with dignity,
and advocate for them the highest quality of life.
What We Provide:
Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare’s Geriatric Program provides
treatment for the following:
- Dementia, including Alzheimer ’s
disease
- Depression
- Adjustment Disorder
- Anxiety
- Behavioral Problems
- Grief Issues
- Major Psychiatric Illnesses
Comprehensive services for Senior Adults include Individual, Family
and Group Counseling; Evaluation and Referral; Crisis Intervention;
Community Consultation; Geriatric Training Programs; Nursing Home
Outreach; Community Outreach; Behavioral Management; Daily Living
Skills; Patient/Family Education; Caregiver Support and Case Management.
